56 A shorter, manageable Russian Sage that is still vigorous in the landscape and production. Lavender blue flowers held in smoky purple calyxes bloom for a long period starting in midsummer, with the color from the calyxes extending appeal into fall.
This cultivar of Russian Sage is distinguished by its narrower, more upright vase-shaped habit and relatively short stature. Aromatic, grey-green foliage on silvery stems is topped with lavender blue flowers for many months. Little fertilization required.
Bloom Time: Late Summer
