A fascinating award winning Peony that is wonderfully fragrant and beautiful in bloom. The large anemone shaped blooms are a rich rose-pink on the outside with densely packed soft yellow strap-like petals at their heart. The foliage is a deep glossy green on strong stems. Heat and drought tolerant once well established. Staking is recommended, and easily done with large tomato cages. Deer and rabbits don't like this plant. A great addition, even a must have, for mixed sun gardens. Excellent cut flowers.
